  • The Mitchell Library North Street Glasgow, Scotland, G3 7DN United Kingdom (map)

Scott Abercombe of John Gilbert Architects Ltd reports on the recent restoration of Glasgow's oldest house, the last surviving medieval manse for the Cathedral Chapter, in its time accommodating priests and probably at least one Scottish king and a queen, as well as acting as a clubroom and various kinds of shops, and an ongoing visitor attraction.
