Holmwood is Reopening!

Following its closure during the pandemic, the National Trust for Scotland has confirmed that Holmwood will be reopening to visitors on 26th June.

Redecoration works have been able to continue whilst the house has been closed to the public. These works aim to recreate Thomson’s highly decorative interiors and the parlour has now been completely restored. 

The Society is delighted that Holmwood is reopening as we had previously reported that the house would remain closed until 2022.

Tours of the house must be pre-booked to ensure that visitors are able to maintain social distancing. For further information please see the NTS website:
