The Alexander Thomson Society is launching another funding appeal for its ambitious project entitled 1 Alexander Place.
The £10m project will conserve and transform the Grade ‘A’ listed remains of Thomson’s first public building, the former Caledonia Road Church in Gorbals, Glasgow, and will be dedicated to the architecture of Alexander Thomson. The project consists of galleries, cafe, studios, short stay apartments and landscaped courtyard with a public place.
