News: ATS Recognised in Parliament

The Alexander Thomson Society would like to thank Stewart McDonald MP for kindly raising the bicentenary of Alexander Thomson during a parliamentary session, and remarking upon the work being carried out by the Society over the course of this special year.

It is an honour for the Society to be recognised in such a way, and we very much appreciate Stewart’s ongoing interest in our work, as well as the legacy of Alexander Thomson. Furthermore, we hope that his request for a debate to discuss Thomson’s significance in greater detail is accepted.
