From its first meetings in a former Cathedral manse from its foundation in 1605, through the Trades Free School for boys and girls, to its current support for a range of educational and other causes, Craig Bryce looks at how the crafts of Glasgow contributed the city’s growth and success.

Craig Bryce is a former Deacon of the Incorporation of Masons and is Honorary Archivist of the Trades House of Glasgow.
